I am watching the Louria girls today and we started out with a massive art project. Everyone had a blank canvas and got to create whatever they wanted. Gairette didn't want hers posted because she wants it to be a surprise.

When it was lunch time we had to eat on the floor because all the tables were covered with art projects. Who doesn't love a picnic!
We brought Erik and Caleb to the airport this morning for their "father/son" spring break trip to Colorado. I admit that I got a little choked up when I hugged Caleb. They are going to have so much fun! Hopefully Erik will be good at taking pictures of their trip.
Today we went to the Shedd with Nadia and Aidan...busiest day EVER. It was not as enjoyable as usual. So glad we have a pass and didn't feel like we had to spend the whole day there.
Jenny just posted on her blog how Charlotte has been sleeping with her butt up in the air. I LOVE when babies sleep like that. The other day I went to check on Emmett and found him like this...I don't think his butt can get any higher!
These two have been obsessed with these bead things. I don't even know what they are called! They started doing them around Christmas time and Caleb got into it right away, making patterns and then making up his own creations (a candle, a tree, a rainbow, ice cream cone). Back then, Jackson would start one and give up pretty quickly. And now he can sit at the table for hours just creating. How fun to see the growth in just a few months. I have no clue what I will do with all of these things...any suggestions!?
The boys were so excited to put shorts on today. We packed up and headed to the Shedd. We met up with our friend Becky and Owen (the little boy she nannies).

He is looking so big these days. We have a well-visit check up on the 30th...we'll see how he is growing!
Then we went bowling at 'Pinstripes'. Jess and Mina (two high school students) came along because they didn't have school. Honestly, I don't think I could have done it without them. Emmett was all over the place! Caleb and Jackson had so much fun.
Jackson's shirt looks so cool in all these pictures.
Jess keeping Emmett busy with her phone.
Mina, grabbing Emmett after he got away from us and went down the lane and slipped!
Are you kidding me? This is my new favorite picture!
Today we met Auntie Brooke and Adeline at the museum. It was fun for the boys to get to play with so many new exhibits.
This is part of the wind section. Caleb and Jackson had so much fun putting everything in the "tunnels."
Inside a bubble!
There's Brooke and Adeline!
We ended our time at the construction zone. This was not the easiest place to have Emmett (I have do hold him the whole time)...but Caleb and Jackson could have stayed there all night. The funny thing is I tried to get them to go in there at the beginning of our time and they said "no." I think we might need to do some building this summer with scraps in our garage.
