Three little pumpkins

The boys were all pumpkins this year...too cute! At one point I thought only Emmett would be wearing a costume, but in the end everyone loved their outfits!

Erik and I were "pumpkin farmers", real creative outfits!

Third time using this little number.

Jackson's pumpkin was borrowed from my cousin Wendy and definitely my favorite...it was sou round and cute.

Erik got the boys in the car and I couldn't believe he left their pumpkins on. Look how stuffed in there Jackson is.

Our first stop was to our friends, Jed and Anne's house. She had sugar cookies for them to decorate. Thanks Anne!

Then we went to Chipotle for free burritos followed by "trunk or treat" at my parents church.

The Chicago grandkids! Brooke is due on November 2...we can't wait. Doesn't she look so cute. Her outfit was my favorite. For the record I am guessing she is carrying a little boy in there and I am hoping he will be born on my birthday.

The three Strom pumpkins. Happy Halloween.

Pre-school party

Caleb wanted to be a pumpking this year. Gramma found these cute pj's and a really nice puffy pumpkin to put on top, but this morning he would only wear these! So, he wore his pj's to school today, but at least he dressed up.

Here is his whole class. I love Caleb in the picture below, his body language and facial expression are priceless! We are not big fans of the masks in this household!

Pumpkin Carving with the Rills

Now that we have our own home with a big table we were able to host the annual pumpkin carving day. We had a great time, it was so fun to see Mei get so excited and into the carving.

Olivia was often found holding this little guy!

Making Limpa with daddy

Today Erik and the boys made Limpa bread. Jackson told us that he had to "get ready" and this is what he put on. Notice our red kitchen!

first smiles!

Today Emmett was so happy sitting in the bouncy seat. I caught some of his first smiles on camera. Looks like he might have the mecher squinty eyes!

We made pizza for dinner and the boys were such good helpers.

The big brothers oohing and ahhing over the new smiles. They seriously sat there watching him for a good 10 minutes!

Wagner Farm

We met at Wagner Farm today for playgroup. Caleb and Jackson picked out their pumpkins to carve later.

My attempt at a pumpkin picture for Emmett. Why does he always seem to be crying? Emmett is one month today! He now weighs 9 pounds 2 ounces.

Some of our friends from playgroup.

Yeah! Daddy's home!

I've been trying to get a good picture of Emmett with his Covenant Point hat on...but he is always crying or making funny faces. I like the color in this one but not the pacifier.

Caleb really wanted to feed Emmett, so we tried his first bottle tonight. He seemed to be doing really well until he finished and threw it all back up! The big boys enjoyed helping.

Flower arranging...

This morning the boys helped Gramma arrange some flowers at her house.

Emmett and I went to a flower arranging class at Gramma's church. Emmett slept through most of it (thankfully)!

Kendell stopped by to meet Emmett for the first time.

Here's what I made!
