Celebrating May Day

I got to spend this morning with Emmett (Caleb was at school and Jackson was shopping with daddy). He really enjoyed the sand and surprisingly didn't put it in his mouth!

This afternoon we brought flowers to the Brandel Care Center with the Johnson girls (Emmett stayed home with daddy). This has been such a fun tradition. Sonja was in a bjorn last time...she was so much fun. Everyone was so excited to see these four walk into their rooms, what a fun surprise!

Afterward we watched a guy unload this huge excavator.

7 months!

Here is our happy guy. We finally went to the doctor for his "6 month checkup." (He's actually 7 months and one week already!) Here are his stats:
15 pounds 2 ounces
26.5 inches long
18 cm head circumference

He's our little peanut!

My Grandma Mecher is in love with the Land's End red jackets. She says that whenever she sees one she has to buy it! So here are all my boys wearing them (Emmett's was actually my cousin Kendells!)

Marble Tunnel

I saw this idea in a magazine and knew Caleb and Jackson would love it. The magazine decorated the tubes with colored tape but I just had them color on them with markers. Caleb sat there coloring for a good hour and a half. He loves all things art! When he finished we put magnets on the back and then they can stick them on the fridge to make different marble tunnels.

Jackson tried out the two wheeler today. The video below is pretty funny because he thought I was taking a picture, so he is just smiling the whole time. He is still getting the hang of it.

Here is Emmett at Nana and Papa's. His first time in the cozy coupe.

We have a crawler!

Emmett finally figured out how to use his hands and legs together to crawl. He is so cute and little. We are so proud of him!

Hail

The storm last night woke us all up, but left these huge pieces of hail for the boys to look at in the morning.

Easter

Emmett's first Easter

The Strom boys and the Johnson girls. Look at all those faces! Yes, Linnea did make the girls dresses.

We celebrated at Nana and Papa's this year. The boys all got baskets with some goodies in them.

Jackson had a pretty high fever for a couple days and was a little pathetic most of the day.

A quick visit to Nana and Papa's

The boys and I were out near Nana and Papa's so we decided to stop by. The boys all enjoyed riding their bikes in the driveway, especially Emmett.
