We had our ultrasound last Wednesday (it took a while to get the picture scanned!) and here is a picture of our little baby. Right after this picture was taken we were able to watch the mouth open and close and see the little tongue sticking out. The technicians said that our baby was so cooperative and allowed them to take wonderful pictures of everything. The baby looks healthy and right on track. I was very excited for Erik to see the baby moving around, kicking and swallowing. I have felt the kicks for a while now, but I think this makes the whole thing a little more real for Erik. We told our technicians that we didn't want to know the sex of the baby but we were secretly hoping for a little peek of something...if only we could read ultrasounds better! I am still thinking it is a girl so if you have any suggestions for names, post them here. I am feeling great. I enjoy my afternoon nap pretty much everyday, not sure if I could make it without it at this point. Caleb keeps me on my toes the rest of the day.

Covenant Point
We took a hike to the Island with Audrey (Colby's girlfriend), Colby and Kyle.
This weekend Erik was the speaker for the Senior High retreat at Covenant Point. We headed up late Thursday night and came back Monday night. We had a great time, everyone enjoyed what Erik had to say, Caleb loved the snow, dogs and all the "people" and I loved relaxing and napping with Caleb. Whenever we would leave the group of people, Caleb would start pointing and saying "people, people." He also learned to say "I funny!"

Grandma and Grandpa Christiansen
Caleb is combing Grandpa's hair in this picture!
My grandparents have been in the hospital or staying at my Aunt June and Uncle Bill's house for about 3 months. They just came back to their apartment on February 20th. We weren't able to go and celebrate with everyone else but we stopped by on Thursday. It was so great to see them back in their place...just like old times.

Jenna and Caleb waiting for the "High School Musical" parade to start.
You can't go to Disney World without getting a picture with Mickey Mouse.
Okay! Now you might wonder why it looks like Caleb is wearing a dress. Let me explain...So we were eating lunch and I could tell Caleb was going to need a diaper change. So, I waited and then took him to the bathroom. WOW! He had had a major explosion. It was everywhere, pants, shirt, socks. I tried calling my Dad's cell phone for help but he couldn't hear me. When they realized it was my number, my sister Erin came running in to help. At that point I had completely stripped him down and was rinsing him in the sink! Caleb was crying, it smelled horrible and of course I had no extra clothes. So Erin put a diaper on him and went to see if anyone else had anything for him to wear. In this picture he is wearing my dad's shirt off his back! What a great Grandpa!

This was Erik's last day with us. I really wanted him to have a "Pineapple Dole Whip" so we went back to the Magic Kingdom. I have vivid memories of Disney World and Dole Whips. This trip was the first time I actually had my own! Caleb enjoyed it as well!
While Daddy, Uncle Jim and Auntie Erin went on "Space Mountain", the rest of us enjoyed the "Buzz Lightyear" ride.

Here are the men in our family (minus Brooke's fiancee, Mike, he had to come back early for school)
And here are the women.
Today we went back to Animal Kingdom. We knew there were a few things Kira would really enjoy so we waited for the Condaps to arrive. These two pictures are on the Safari. We saw so many animals including this Rhino that walked right in front of our car!

This picture was taken just before we rode the Dino ride again with Caleb. Doesn't he look pretty sick? Well...soon after this ride, we ate lunch and decided to take Caleb home for a nap. While we were leaving the park he fell asleep in the stroller...
This picture was taken seconds before Caleb woke up and then threw up all over! It was so horrible. Everything was a mess including myself, I was totally crying. I felt so bad for him and he was just so pathetic. Luckily since it had been raining that morning we had brought extra clothes and put them all in baggies so we were able to clean him up pretty good, put on fresh clothes and put all the stinky clothes in the baggies. He took a nice long nap that afternoon and we layed low for the next day and a half!

On our way to Florida!
My family (my mom's side) takes a trip to Disney World every 5 years...2007 was the year! When we were all together there were 25 of us! Unfortunately this time a few families were not able to join us. It was so exciting to have Caleb on the trip this time. It was much more exciting to see Disney World through the eyes of a 17 month old. And, since I couldn't go on any of the rides, we didn't have to worry about who would stay with the kids!
