Erik watched Sonja while Linnea, Caleb and Gwen were all at preschool. I was at a doctor appointment hearing the heartbeat for the first time!! Sonja slept the entire time but woke up just as I got home. Jackson wanted to be right by her all the time and this was her happy face right after waking up. What a cutie!

Schwoosh, schwoosh, schwoosh - that is my absolute favorite sound in the world. Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. I used to ask the doctor to leave it with me while he was out of the room. Did you know that when I was in L&D, I asked them to use a doppler heartbeat monitor just one more time so I could heart that sound. I cried with gairette because I knew it would probably be the last time...
