Caleb got his first official haircut from "Tony", better known as Papa. I was a little nervous but it turned out great!

We went to church at Hinsdale Covenant on Sunday. Erik will be leading worship there all summer. Caleb was such a good boy during the service but was so exhuasted by the end. He fell asleep in my arms after church, I transferred him to his carseat, and then transferred him into his crib when we got home. (Yes, I actually buckled him in!) Doesn't he just look so peaceful?
We spent Friday night and Saturday morning at our friends house in Wayne, IL. It was so nice to have a little retreat from the busy city life. We actually heard birds chirping! Here is Caleb enjoying the rock wall in the garden.
So we had to post this picture...Caleb had just woken up from his morning nap and his eye was "glued" shut. He has a little eye infection (which is so sad) but I just had to take a picture of him...look how pathetic and cute he is! He was trying so hard to get that eye to open. He looks like he was in a fist fight!
Here is our little family after breakfast at Egg Harbor Cafe. Yummy!

Here are some pictures to show a "typical day" for the Strom family. We recently moved all of Caleb's toys to these bookshelves and he spends a good portion of the day pulling things off the shelves and reaching into his baskets.
