Christmas Eve

Since we were over at my parents late last night we just decided to sleep over and have Christmas with each other in the morning. The boys loved waking up at Gramma and Poppas and being with his Aunts and Uncles right away.

Stockings!

How cute is this kid?!

Cousins!

Uncle Mike took this cute picture of Emmett.

Opening presents.

After presents we headed home for naps and then off to a 4:00 service at church.

Caleb and Jackson liked the candles for 1 second and then got a little nervous.

After church we were back at my parents house for dinner and presents with all my cousins.

Sweet Adeline in a dress my mom made for me when I was a baby!

Emmett's first picture with Wendy.

Here is our family by the tree. (Kyle and Jenny came a little later)

This is Mor Mor and all the great grand kids that came in 2009. Adeline, Emmett and Mei Lynn.

The three Strom boys...

Caleb and Jackson have been really into coloring lately. Here is a glimpse of how different the boys are. Jackson colors for a little while, starts laughing and I find him like this!

Caleb colors and colors and colors. He was very proud and made me take a picture of this one.

And Emmett just goes with the flow. He is smiling a ton and even starting to giggle a little bit. Our house is very busy these days and we love it!

Caleb and Jackson slept over at Nana and Papa's house last night. In the morning they created this beauty! Isn't he so cute?

Annual wrapping party

This year Caleb was such a good helper. By the end of the day he could read all the names on the tags. He mostly loved cutting the paper and sticking on the gift tags.

Emmett asleep on Nana's shoulder...so sweet.

Wonderland Express at Botanic Gardens

The boys loved the train exhibit at the Botanic Gardens again this year. I was obsessed with the lights on the trees outside...amazing!

Emmett

Emmett fell asleep on Erik's chest and I wanted to get a picture of both of them sleeping but Erik wasn't very good at pretending! But look how sweet Emmett is!

Winter Wonderfest

Caleb heard an ad for "Winter Wonderfest" on the radio and asked everyday from then on if we could go. This year we dragged Linnea, Gwen and Sonja along. It was great because it wasn't very crowded and the kids were big enough to do a lot of things. My boys were really into the big blowup slides and bounce castles this year.

Gingerbread House

We got our gingerbread house from Costco this year. It was already put together, all we had to do was decorate it...so easy! I think the boys had a little too much sugar tonight!

FIRST SNOW!

As you can see the boys were so excited to see snow on the ground when we woke up this morning! I'm pretty sure I heard Caleb yell, "Mom, come look what is all over the ground!"

Love Jackson in these pictures...so excited.

And here is what our fireplace looks like this Christmas. My mom made this advent calendar for the boys. She knit all the little hats and gloves...so cute!

Santa Lucia

This year Caleb was a Pepparkaka for the Santa Lucia pageant at our church. He did a great job. In the video you can see that he held his hat on the entire time. At the end he told me that he didn't really like doing it but that Aiden (the other boy) was a really good pepparkaka.

Colby after the surgery

Colby had his jaw surgery on Tuesday morning but we couldn't get out to see him until Thursday afternoon. He was sleeping when we got there, but soon woke up and even came down to the lobby to see the boys. We could not believe how well he was doing. He looks great!

We have been praying for Colby a lot these days and the other night after praying with Erik, Caleb said "Colby's tough" to which Jackson echoed "Yeah, Colby's tough!"

We love you Uncle Colby!
